About Sinosauropteryx
The first non bird dinosaur ever found with feathers, announced in 1996, launching a scientific revolution. Pigment studies revealed a ginger body with a striped tail. Its simple filaments resembled fur more than bird feathers. Stomach contents include a mammal and a lizard.
