About Leaellynasaura
A small dinosaur that lived within the Antarctic Circle when Australia sat far to the south. Extra large eye sockets may have aided vision through months of winter dark. Named after Leaellyn Rich, daughter of the paleontologists who found it. Fern forests carpeted its polar habitat.
