About Iguanodon
One of the first dinosaurs ever named (1825). Originally reconstructed as a lumbering quadruped with a nose horn — later found the horn was actually the thumb spike. Could walk on two or four legs. The thumb spike was likely a defensive weapon. Found across Europe in large numbers, suggesting herding behavior.
