About Gorgosaurus
A lightly built tyrannosaurid, faster than its neighbor Daspletosaurus. Hundreds of specimens make it one of the best understood big theropods. Braincase casts reveal huge olfactory lobes for a keen nose. Juveniles chased quick prey; adults switched to heavy herbivores.
