About Dilong

An early tyrannosauroid preserved with simple protofeathers. Proves tyrannosaurs descended from small fuzzy hunters before evolving giant size. Only about 2 meters long, yet its skull already showed tyrannosaur traits like fused nasal bones. Found in the famous Yixian beds of China.
