About Chilesaurus
A plant eating theropod nicknamed the platypus of dinosaurs. Mixed traits of many groups: a ceratopsian like beak, sauropod like teeth, tyrannosaur like arms and an ornithischian like pelvis. Its 2015 description baffled paleontologists. Proof that evolution can assemble strange combinations from separate lineages.
