About Stegosaurus
Known for the double row of diamond-shaped plates along its back and four tail spikes (thagomizer). Plates may have been used for temperature regulation and display. Had a brain the size of a walnut despite its massive body. The tail spikes were formidable weapons — one Allosaurus fossil shows a fatal Stegosaurus spike wound.
