About Barosaurus

A sauropod with an exceptionally long neck built from 15 huge elongated vertebrae. Its whip like tail balanced the neck like a see saw. A famous mounted skeleton in New York shows it rearing on its hind legs to defend a juvenile from an attacking Allosaurus. Weighed as much as several elephants.
