About Triceratops
The iconic three-horned dinosaur. Its skull could reach 2.5 meters, one of the largest of any land animal. The bony frill may have been used for display and defense. Fought T. rex — fossil evidence shows T. rex bite marks on Triceratops frills that healed, meaning the prey survived the encounter.
