Therizinosaurus

About Therizinosaurus

One of the strangest dinosaurs. A giant theropod that evolved to eat plants instead of meat. Had the longest claws of any known animal — up to 1 meter long on each hand. Despite being a theropod (meat-eater family), it had a pot belly for digesting plants. May have been the tallest theropod, reaching 5 meters at the hip.
