About Pteranodon

Not technically a dinosaur, but a pterosaur — one of the largest flying reptiles. Wingspan of 7 meters but weighed only 25 kg due to hollow bones. The crest on its head may have been used for display or as a rudder during flight. Had no teeth — caught fish with its long, pointed beak while flying over the Western Interior Seaway.
