About Nodosaurus
A heavily armored nodosaurid. An incredibly well-preserved specimen found in Alberta in 2011 still had skin and armor in place — it was so well preserved you could see it was reddish-brown. Had no tail club like Ankylosaurus but was covered in thick bony plates. Likely ate ferns and low-growing plants.
