About Mosasaurus

A giant marine lizard, not a dinosaur. The apex predator of the Late Cretaceous seas. Could swallow prey whole — stomach contents include fish, sharks, other mosasaurs, and even sea turtles. Had a hinge in its lower jaw (like snakes) to swallow large prey. Grew up to 17 meters. The star of the Jurassic World lagoon scene.
